Italian lighting atelier Catellani & Smith will showcase its latest luminous creations at the Anker & Co showroom during 3daysofdesign, running from 18–21 June 2025 in Copenhagen. The exhibition, open daily from 08:00 to 18:00 at Dampfærgevej 13, invites visitors into a world where craftsmanship, technical innovation and poetic light converge.

Gold Moon wall lamp.
Centre stage is the striking Pòta! lamp in its pendant version, a 50 cm wide handcrafted fixture housing 18 ELV LEDs. This newly launched lighting family is the fruit of 'an in-depth study process that has led to the development of innovative technical solutions designed to further enhance the craftsmanship that have always been the soul of Catellani & Smith's identity.' Inspired by the brand's original philosophy and guided by founder Enzo Catellani, Pòta! reimagines lighting as both functional and sculptural.
In the Pòta! series, 'light is the focal element around which slender, voluminous yet light structures take shape,' creating a 'contrasting interplay between order and disorder.' Glass and brass pair with contemporary LED filament technology to define a new expressive vocabulary rooted in tradition but firmly attuned to modern design.
Also debuting is the Gold Moon wall lamp, a dynamic reinterpretation of one of Catellani & Smith's most iconic models. Made up of six golden-leaf coated discs, three at 25 cm and three at 30 cm in diameter, the wall version offers new versatility for residential, contract and hospitality spaces.
The arrangement 'reflects the light provided by the small interchangeable LED elements concealed amid the copper curls, creating enchanting light and shadow effects on the wall.' The Gold Moon composition is not only a source of illumination but 'adds an aesthetic value that transcends the mere lighting function.'
Described as 'a perfect balance between matter and light,' Gold Moon turns any setting 'into a unique visual and sensory experience.' Custom configurations of the lamp allow designers to respond to specific project needs, offering modular beauty and sensory impact.
By returning to the essence of craftsmanship and emotional storytelling through light, Catellani & Smith's presence at 3daysofdesign embodies the spirit of thoughtful innovation. From elegant disorder to golden constellations, these creations continue the brand's mission to craft light that feels as much as it illuminates.
