'Moodscollection storming ahead: how specialisation and innovation sparked rapid growth'

Moodscollection is making a breakthrough in the furniture industry. The strategic focus on seating furniture, particularly dining chairs, has proven to be a bullseye, according to owner Sjors Brekoo. Thanks to an efficient production model and smart digitalisation, the company is rapidly setting itself apart.

With full control over custom production in its own factory in China, Moodscollection offers something truly unique: more than 100,000 possible combinations, competitive pricing, and an exceptionally low error rate. Since its launch two years ago, Moodscollection has worked intensively to professionalise its processes. Investments in automation, inventory management, and expertise have driven explosive growth. While selling 100 chairs in a month was once considered a success, the company now consistently ships 2,000 chairs monthly, with peaks reaching up to 4,000 units.
'That's truly absurd growth,' says Brekoo. 'And the best part is, it means our customers are satisfied.'

The road to success hasn't been without challenges, but customer satisfaction has always remained a top priority. 'We've had our share of issues,' Brekoo admits, 'but we've never left a customer hanging. People aren't just buying a product, they're buying into a relationship and a sense of reliability.'

Digitalisation plays an increasingly important role at Moodscollection. Through a proprietary customer portal, dealers can track the status of their orders in real-time. Each order is linked to a specific container, complete with tracking information. 'Suppose a consumer calls after nine weeks asking where their chairs are. Our client can immediately provide the correct answer by simply logging in,' explains Brekoo.

Additionally, three key dates are now communicated with every order: the order date, the original delivery date, and the actual delivery date. This creates full transparency regarding delivery times, an essential aspect of reliability.
