Designed by Teresa Sapey + Partners, the first two models of Diabla's original COSTURAS pouf collection had a square and rounded individual format. The collection now adds two more double models, which allow for accommodating more people and invite socialisation.

The large-scale design of the new COSTURAS TWINS XL poufs maintains the same aesthetic of striking oversized seams on their edges, for which Teresa Sapey + Partners were inspired by the aesthetics of baseballs.
The surprising format of the new COSTURAS TWINS XL poufs from Diabla arises from the intersection of two geometric figures, whether square or round, in reference to the bond and the different personalities that twin siblings often have.
Fascinated by the curious personality and surrealism of Alice's stories created by Lewis Carroll, the COSTURAS TWINS XL poufs have their alter egos in the twins Tweedledum and Tweedledee. The fact is that Teresa Sapey's daughter and partner, Francesca Heathcote Sapey, is a twin, so with this design they wanted to celebrate that diversity and the very particular bond that this type of siblings have.
'Without losing the simplicity or versatility of the product, we have opted to reinvent the essential elements and give prominence to hidden details, such as the seams.' - Teresa Sapey
