After years of operating in the background, PXL Carpets made its first prominent appearance at Flanders Flooring Days (FFD) this year. And that did not go unnoticed. The Belgian company, which specialises in digitally printed carpet for customised projects, attracted a lot of interest from visitors at home and abroad.
Company spokeswoman Cole Brekoo looks back on the trade fair participation: "For us, this was really the baptism of fire. PXL Carpets has remained under the radar for a long time, but we have been making a lot of headway recently. The fair offered an excellent opportunity to show what we do: offer high-quality carpet solutions for the international events sector, project market and interior industry, fully customised for our clients."

During the event, PXL Carpets' entire international team was present in Kortrijk to speak to visitors. That international approach underlines the focus of the company, which produces exclusively for customers worldwide. 'We are active in a variety of sectors, from the event sector to museums, retail, fashion and hotels,' explains Cole Brekoo. 'We also work a lot with architects and designers, whom we support in translating their ideas into unique carpet solutions-think carpets, stair runners or broadloom carpet.'
PXL Carpets does not develop its own collections, but excels at realising all possible designs provided by clients. Thanks to highly flexible production and advanced digital printing technology, even the most complex visuals and patterns are possible.
'The interior and project market is definitely going to hear more from us in the near future,' says Cole. 'We don't just make carpet, but visually distinctive as well as functional solutions that perfectly match our customers' concepts.'
With this successful exhibition participation, PXL Carpets seems to be stepping out of the lull for good. 'The company proves that Belgian expertise, technological innovation and client-oriented customisation can go hand in hand,' she concludes.
