'When We design a furniture collection in particular dining chairs, lounge or Sunbed we are mostly face the importance to create furniture which can be durable and stronger to resist on the daily use, or even contract use.' That's what Cesare Maurizi, an outdoor and indoor expert, said in a personal post on LinkedIn.
'Probably some of you heard about the America test ANSI-BIFMA and about the European standard test EN581. Well I found the American standard much more pragmatic respect European standard! I think the drop test of BIFMA has better results, fast and reliable. Often during my work happen that a chair pass the European standard and fail the ANSI-BIFMA, but never happen the opposite on my experience, that's why I use to perform American standard first and then use the EN581. More in real life and real use We have very low complains....sometimes doubts of the standards and use our own method could save our business!'
