Creativity and credibility:

Speaking with kitchen designers who have made the move to Kutchenhaus

Kutchenhaus continues to attract top talent from across the industry as it builds a national network of creative kitchen experts. With a strong reputation for combining beautiful, German-engineered kitchens with personal service, the company is home to designers who bring passion, innovation, and years of experience to every project.

Among those making waves are Natasha Sabharwal of Kutchenhaus Croydon, Allen Gibson from Kutchenhaus Rainham, and Jules Arnott of Kutchenhaus Brighton. Each has made the transition from major competitors and is now thriving in a more creatively empowering environment.

A wealth of experience
Natasha Sabharwal joined in 2023, bringing with her nine years of design experience from Wren Kitchens and Sheraton Interiors. 'I've always loved interiors,' she said. 'From a young age, it has been a passion of mine and designing kitchens specifically felt like the best thing to do as I also very much liked cooking. The kitchen is such an important room of the home and, when you get it right, everything else can fall into place.'

Allen Gibson joined Kutchenhaus Rainham in 2024 after 16 years in the industry at B&Q, Howdens, and Wickes. He commented: 'I've always had a flair for design and the ability to connect with people. Becoming a kitchen designer felt natural and I've built my career around these skills which have served me well.'

Jules Arnott has 20 years in property and 10 years designing kitchens with Wren. 'The best part for me has been the freedom to be able to utilise my design skills to a fuller extent and the ability to add flair,' he said.

Creative freedom and customer focus
All three designers praise Kutchenhaus for its people-first approach. Natasha explained, 'The whole operation is more customer focused. Being part of a showroom is not just about volume and numbers; it's creativity and credibility.'

Allen added, 'Customers get the personal service level they deserve and that's a rewarding aspect of the job… I've found Kutchenhaus gives you the ability to do what you should be doing and also gives you the time to do it.'

Jules noted, 'It's been very rewarding to solve problems for customers by thinking outside the box… you can feel confident in the work you're doing and have the knowledge that there are people on hand to assist whenever you need.'

A platform for growth
The designers also cited professional development and career progression as major benefits. Natasha shared, 'I feel like I'm allowed to fly… it's great to see my designs posted on the brand's national social media channels. Plus, there's always the opportunity to open your own showroom once you're ready!'

Allen described visiting Germany to see behind-the-scenes production as a 'real "wow" moment', while Jules values the one-on-one time with clients, saying, 'We have the best chance of producing a truly stunning outcome which they're delighted with.'

For those with a passion for design and ambition for more, Kutchenhaus offers an opportunity to grow, create, and thrive.
