Four furniture industry companies have been listed among the 200 largest Polish firms in the 2025 edition of Wprost's annual ranking. While the sector maintained a modest presence, the overall financial performance varied significantly between manufacturers and retailers.
Nowy Styl is one of the furniture companies that is amongst the Top 200 of business in Poland.
Retailer Agata stood out as the only furniture company to appear in the top 100, rising from 97th to 85th place. In contrast, the three manufacturers included—CORRECT, Com40, and Nowy Styl—experienced a drop in rankings. CORRECT fell from 115th to 139th, Com40 slipped from 126th to 145th, and Nowy Styl declined from 155th to 166th.
Notably absent this year was Fabryki Mebli FORTE, which ranked 133rd in the previous edition after climbing from 147th place, highlighting shifting fortunes within the industry.
The Wprost list, first published a decade ago, now reflects more than PLN 1.5 trillion in combined revenue among Poland's top 200 companies—more than double the figure recorded in the original ranking. However, this year's edition notes a sharp increase in losses, with over 30 companies reporting negative results, compared to a much lower number the previous year.
The mixed performance of the furniture sector suggests resilience in retail but growing challenges in manufacturing. Agata's continued ascent contrasts with broader market pressures, including cost fluctuations and changing consumer demand.
Published annually, the Wprost list remains a key indicator of Poland's corporate landscape, and this year's results offer insight into how economic headwinds are affecting key industries, including furniture production and trade.
