Industry leaders such as Homag, Weinig, SCM, Biesse, Felder, and Altendorf are among the many presenting innovations aimed at shaping the future of wood processing and manufacturing. Companies from Europe, Asia, and North America are also represented, including medium-sized enterprises, software developers, and start-ups.

The event features a robust supporting programme, including "Ligna.Circular" on the "Ligna.Stage" in Hall 12, which centres on the circular economy and sustainability. Visitors can engage with power tools, fastening systems, and woodworking materials at the "Ligna.TruckStop" in the outdoor zone, aimed at tradespeople such as joiners and carpenters.

The "Ligna.Campus" in Hall 11 highlights educational and research initiatives from technical universities, while "Ligna.FutureSquare" offers a platform for new participants, including start-ups and first-time exhibitors from the VDMA network, to present innovations.

Described as the "world's leading trade fair for the woodworking and wood processing industry", this year's event celebrates "50 Years of Innovation in Hanover". It has already exceeded prior registration levels, reflecting strong interest and momentum within the sector.

With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and education, the 2025 edition reinforces the event's reputation as a cornerstone for professionals and businesses shaping the future of wood-based industries.
