One of the largest bed stores in the region is set to open this summer in Esbjerg, marking a significant expansion in retail offerings for sleep and bedroom comfort. Located in the former Elgiganten premises on Østre Gjesingvej, the new store will feature over 50 beds on display.

This addition becomes the 27th outlet for Drømmeland, a Danish bed chain that has long aimed to establish a presence in Esbjerg. The move also coincides with a special milestone, as the company celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
Founded in 1974, Drømmeland began with a single location in Bagsværd and has since grown into a prominent name in the sleep retail sector. In 2021, the company became part of the larger European group Swiss-Sense, which now operates more than 130 bed stores across the continent.
The new Esbjerg store reflects both the brand's legacy and its ambition to strengthen its footprint in Denmark, offering customers access to a wider selection of sleep products in a spacious and modern setting.
