Rémy Journé takes the position of MD at Hisense France

Hisense France has appointed Rémy Journé as its new Managing Director, effective 22 May 2025. Previously Vice President, Journé has been with the company for over a decade and co-founded the French subsidiary in 2014 alongside three Chinese colleagues.

A graduate of Grenoble École de Management and Sciences Po Lyon, Journé began his career at Sony France in 1998 before joining Samsung Electronics France in 2004, where he rose to the role of sales director. His industry experience and strategic leadership are expected to support Hisense France's continued growth.

In his new role, Journé will focus on driving innovation, product quality and customer satisfaction, while strengthening partnerships with key players in the market. 'Assuming the general management of Hisense France is a source of great pride for me and a strong commitment for the future,' he stated, adding that the brand is well-positioned to grow further alongside its committed teams.

Hisense France reported approximately €300 million in revenue in 2024 and has achieved strong market performance, holding a 41% share in the Laser TV segment and ranking as the second-largest refrigerator brand by value. The brand has also expanded into washing machines, cooking appliances, dishwashers, and small domestic equipment. This success is underpinned by a premium market strategy and strategic sports partnerships with UEFA, FIFA and Paris Saint-Germain.

Journé's appointment reflects Hisense's long-term ambition to become a top-tier brand in the French market through sustained innovation and collaboration.
