Grants become available for participation in international fairs

Global stage opens for Polish furniture brands

Polish furniture companies now have a valuable opportunity to expand globally through the European Funds-backed "Promotion of the brand of innovative SMEs" programme. The initiative offers non-repayable subsidies covering up to 85% of eligible costs, supporting participation in international trade fairs and economic missions.

Designed to support the internationalisation of Polish small and medium-sized enterprises, the programme focuses on promoting defined product brands abroad. It covers a wide range of expenses, including event registration, stand construction, employee travel and accommodation, and digital advertising campaigns.

Applicants must operate in one of fifteen high-export-potential sectors, including furniture manufacturing. To qualify, firms must demonstrate export activity over the past two financial years, with at least 20% of total sales derived from foreign markets by the end of 2024. They must also show evidence of innovation or R&D investment within the last three years.

Participation requires attending at least one government-listed event featuring a national stand. For furniture firms, this includes the 2026 High Point Spring Edition in the USA or INDEX Dubai in the UAE. Additional events may be chosen based on brand needs.

Projects with stronger export performance, internationally recognised brands, or prior experience in international public procurement will be prioritised for funding.

Applications are open until 24 June 2025. Given the complex requirements and tight timeline, companies are encouraged to seek expert assistance. ECDF Dotacje, which has secured over 1,900 grants worth more than 3.35 billion złoty since 2003, offers full support from eligibility assessment to final settlement.

This funding represents a major chance for Polish furniture brands to showcase their designs on the world stage and strengthen their global presence.
