From a small laboratory to an important design company, the step was possible thanks to his dynamically visionary and courageous entrepreneurial style, knowing how to choose with great sensitivity and relational skills, personalities of great value, with whom to share this path.
At the end of the eighties, he had the intuition to plan the gradual transition of Boffi to the entrepreneur Roberto Gavazzi and to enhance a very young Piero Lissoni, still art director. Together they have developed a project of international reference in the history of Italian design.
Over the years, as Honorary President, he left a Boffi now led by Gavazzi on international dimensions and trades extended to all contemporary furniture, to devote himself to an innovative project of environmental and technological development.
'We remember him as so passionate about innovation in production processes, engaged in his research towards new design discoveries and more.
With Mr. Paolo, as everyone in the company called him, his sparkling personality and his curious mind, never still, always looking for new stimuli and inspirations, also go.
We thank him for his important contribution to Made in Italy, for the ready joke and the humility of those who have been able to tell such an important story, also and above all giving credit to those who have been by his side in this journey,' says the company.
The editors of InteriorDaily wish his relatives and Boffi colleagues much strength with this loss.
