This follows a strong start to 2025, during which JYSK Bulgaria has already opened four new stores in Velingrad, Botevgrad, Petrich, and Ravda. The company will also relocate its Plovdiv branch from Retail Park Raykov to Park Maxx by the end of May.
Looking ahead, JYSK Bulgaria intends to open at least five more stores and upgrade another five during its next fiscal year, which runs from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026.
The company has been steadily expanding in the country since entering the market in 2005. It now operates 57 stores across Bulgaria, including its e-commerce platform, and employs more than 750 people.
Globally, JYSK runs over 3,500 stores in 50 countries, with direct operations in 29 and franchise partnerships in the remaining 21.
