Heimtextil launches "Sleep & Meet": new hotspot in the bedding industry

Heimtextil, the international trade fair for home and project textiles and textile design, is strategically expanding the Smart Bedding segment. A new exhibitor area will be created for the January 2026 edition: Sleep & Meet. This newly designed concept will cover around a quarter of Hall 4.0. Numerous renowned brands from the mattress industry have already registered. With a clear layout and a high-quality appearance, Sleep & Meet offers bedding specialists, the hospitality sector and large-scale buyers direct access to relevant companies and industry peers, new product insights and valuable business contacts.

Several strong German brands from the mattress industry will be present at Heimtextil 2026. Well-known companies such as Auping Germany, Bettwaren Stendebach, Erich Werkmeister, ergomed, Femira, Rummel and Schwarzwald Schlafsysteme are celebrating their debut at Heimtextil 2026 and have already registered. The EuroComfort Group with brands such as Badenia, Brinkhaus, Lück and fan frankenstolz is sending out a strong signal: both companies are significantly expanding their stand space during this edition.

'Heimtextil brings together specialist bedding retailers, hospitality and wholesale buyers with relevant brands and high-quality products – and offers the ideal framework for building new business relationships, identifying trends early on and finding inspiration for the product range,' says Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt. 'We are delighted to be able to offer visitors a strong and tailor-made offer.'
Industry association Matratzen-Industrie eV present again

The industry association Matratzen-Industrie eV is also sending out a strong signal: the association will once again be represented with its own stand at Heimtextil 2026. 'Heimtextil offers the ideal platform for presenting the innovative strength and diversity of German mattress manufacturers internationally,' says Martin Auerbach, Managing Director of the industry association. 'Our presence is a clear confirmation of our commitment to this platform.'

Heimtextil 2026 will take place from 13 to 16 January 2026.
