Torben Bechmann has been named the new CEO of In2House, the member-owned furniture group that includes the chains Møblér, Hjemme Hos, and Danbo Møbler. He succeeds Mikael Kold, who has held the dual role of CEO and chairman for the past seven years. Kold will now focus exclusively on his role as chairman of In2House and the Møblér chain.

The leadership transition was confirmed at In2House's general meeting on April 30, 2025. With over 70 locally owned stores under its umbrella, the group is preparing for a new phase of digitalisation across its retail network. Bechmann's appointment is seen as a strategic move to advance these efforts.
Bechmann joined the company six months ago as IT and finance manager. He brings with him a solid background in management roles at Fletco Carpets, Autocamp, and Sølvsten Biler. His blend of IT, financial, and leadership experience positions him to drive the group's evolving digital agenda.
This leadership change highlights In2House's commitment to modernising operations and enhancing digital collaboration among its member stores.
