The purchasing group Einkaufspartner AG becomes part of log.com holding ag: for strong synergies with Logista Einkaufsgesellschaft and attractive new opportunities for members of both groups.
Einkaufspartner AG is being sold to log.com holding ag. This acquisition is part of a strategic succession plan to secure Einkaufspartner AG's decades-long pioneering role in the industry, continue and strengthen established networks, and realize synergies. Geschäftsführer (Managing Directors) Kilian Cathomas and Sabrina Schoch will continue to support the members during and after the transition. Moritz Mühlebach, one of the founders of Einkaufspartner AG, will remain on the board of directors of the group.
The sale presents an outstanding opportunity to realise synergies with Logista EG AG, a part of log.com holding ag and one of Switzerland's leading purchasing groups with over 400 suppliers in the main and secondary construction sectors. The existing portfolios of both groups will complement each other perfectly, opening up numerous new perspectives and important purchasing opportunities for all members.
By integrating Einkaufspartner AG into log.com holding ag as an independent subsidiary, the existing network will be strategically expanded to include Logista suppliers. The impressive pool of renowned partner suppliers will now be accessible to all members of both groups: a strong assortment of relevant product categories from various areas of the construction sector will be supplemented by well-known suppliers of flooring, baseboards, and tools for the professional floor-laying trade.
In addition, the integration of Einkaufspartner AG into log.com holding ag will lead to increased administrative efficiency. Optimised processes will reduce administrative effort. The pooling of resources enables economies of scale, making the group even more attractive to partner suppliers and leading to better purchasing conditions and competitive advantages in a highly competitive environment.
Last but not least, the merger provides both groups with exciting growth opportunities and a stronger market presence for the future.
The management of Einkaufspartner AG will remain with Kilian Cathomas, and Sabrina Schoch will continue to support Einkaufspartner members with the same dedication and service they are accustomed to. Moritz Mühlebach, one of the founding members of the group, will represent Einkaufspartner AG on the board of directors going forward.
