The company in question is, Tømrer og Vinduescenter Kolding ApS. According to attorney and trustee Søren Chr. Dueholm, the decision was prompted by ongoing financial difficulties and continued deficits. The business had recorded losses in two of its three annual accounts since it was founded in 2021.

The company operated as a branch of Tømrer og Vinduescenter Esbjerg, which continues to trade. Co-owner Frank Lyngholm stated that while the Kolding unit struggled, "Tømrer og Vinduescenter Esbjerg has run successfully for more than twenty years, and I still operate it." He also confirmed that the three employees based in Kolding would be supported in finding new opportunities.

The closure marks the end of an unsuccessful expansion effort in Denmark's Triangle Region, with Lyngholm citing multiple challenges that contributed to the company's financial strain.
