Cuisines Références, part of the FBD group, has reported a "promising" first quarter of 2025, crediting the positive results to the rollout of its "2027 Strategic Plan". Despite broader economic uncertainty, the brand's revenue matched 2024 figures, while store traffic and customer appointment requests increased significantly — up 18% year-on-year by March-end.
Currently operating 110 stores across France, the kitchen design network, which claims to be the "leading network of local kitchen designers", is planning to open eight more locations this year. Two new showrooms already launched on 15 March in Biarritz and Buchelay. The Biarritz location spans 115 m² and features full interior solutions, while the 300 m² Buchelay store, led by Camille Cetinkaya, offers ten kitchen models and various living space displays.
The brand attributes part of this growth to its renewed local communication strategy, which since January has provided affiliates with tailored media campaigns — yielding "positive results" according to management. Further support measures include the enhancement of in-store financing solutions, set to be promoted more strongly from Q2 in collaboration with Franfinance, to aid both sales and customer affordability.
In parallel, Cuisines Références is rolling out a new back-office system aimed at improving store management, with full deployment expected by the end of 2026. Another growth avenue is its city-centre store concept, introduced in late 2024. Offering full interior design solutions in compact urban spaces, it features a lower investment threshold (€35,000) compared to traditional showrooms and aims to attract new franchisees from the interior design sector.
With a mix of expansion, innovation, and localised support, Cuisines Références is positioning itself for continued growth through 2025 and beyond.
