Design, comfort, and functionality were the keywords for Milano Bedding during Milan Design Week.
The collaboration between the company and the designer Christophe Pillet has returned, resulting in the new Rufus sofa bed.
The sofa bed Rufus, with minimal, harmonious lines and generous proportions, stands out for its low frame, almost touching the floor, an innovative feature for convertible sofas.
Even with this particularity, the sofa, thanks to careful research and development work conducted by the company together with the designer, easily transforms into a spacious bed, with a practical and silent mechanism that allows you to extract a thin but highly comfortable mattress, 200 cm long.
Sober and elegant, the sofa is also defined by a deep seat with a single welcoming cushion that invites you to relax. Rufus therefore combines elegance and comfort without sacrificing functionality, a common thread of all the proposals by Milano Bedding.
The model is available in a linear sofa or with a chaise lounge and can be covered with numerous fabrics and leathers.
Other 2025 novelties include new versions of the Clarke sofa bed, the company's best-seller: Clarke Twin and Clarke Cross. Like Clarke, both feature the distinctive "volant" upholstery with visible stitching. Clarke Twin easily transforms into a single bed with a simple forward movement of the seat, without removing the backrest cushions. If desired, it can become a double bed with an electro-welded mesh base. The second pull-out bed is cleverly hidden under the seat, providing a convenient extra sleeping space for guests when needed.
Clarke Cross, with its transverse sleeping mechanism, is the perfect solution for those seeking a refined and practical piece of furniture that, when open, takes up less space than front-opening sofa beds. The model transforms into a comfortable bed with a simple seat rotation, requiring only the removal of the back cushions.
Ideal for small spaces, Clarke Cross strikes the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality, ensuring maximum comfort both for sitting and sleeping.
