The Simmons and Beautyrest brands are making a comeback in the US bedding market under the newly established Level Up Group, parent company of Level Up Home.
Based in Charleston, the Level Up Group aims to revitalise the Simmons and Beautyrest names, previously part of Serta Simmons Bedding, by offering "high-performance upholstery products and solutions" designed to help retailers grow. Jay Quimby, President and CEO of Level Up Home, stated that the company was founded to address an "under-resourced" segment of the market, bringing renewed energy through trusted brands.
The business strategy focuses on providing affordable products, streamlined supply chain solutions, and leveraging a nationwide distribution network. The company is forming partnerships with some of the world's largest manufacturers and has launched the Simmons Living line, using the Simmons and Beautyrest brands. It plans to support retailers through frequent, smaller shipments to ease storage and inventory costs.
Tim Oakhill, Chief Marketing Officer of Serta Simmons Bedding, expressed his support for the initiative, stating: 'They understand the strength of the Simmons and Beautyrest brands and what retailers need to be successful.'
With these moves, Level Up Home positions itself as an emerging force in the US home furnishings sector, aiming to deliver growth through brand recognition, operational flexibility, and retailer-focused solutions.
