Actona Group selects Droppery as strategic partner for digitalisation and dropshipping

Danish interior design powerhouse Actona Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Dutch tech company Droppery. Through this collaboration, Droppery will support Actona's customers with delivering last mile to their end customers, while Actona provide product data and inventory to them. Additionally, the platform enables dropshipping for retail partners, allowing them to sell directly to consumers without holding physical stock.

Thanks to Droppery's logistics solution, Actona Group can now offer dropshipping services in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Why Droppery?
Actona Group chose Droppery in response to requests from small and medium-sized customers who are looking for more flexible ordering options. 'With Droppery, these customers can now consolidate their orders with those of other businesses, allowing them to purchase in smaller quantities without the need to meet large order minimums.'

Actona expects to expand its reach to a broader range of customers, including those who previously faced challenges with order minimums at the dropship warehouse in Denmark. 'Additionally, the ability to offer last-mile delivery directly to end customers is a significant advantage, which is expected to be valued by Actona's retail partners.'

Innovation, efficiency, and growth
Marco Mulder, CEO of Droppery, is enthusiastic about the collaboration and sees Actona's choice as a strong endorsement. 'We're thrilled to be supporting Actona Group. This partnership allows them to introduce a brand-new service to their clients: last-mile delivery. Our platform is fully equipped for this, while it's a new domain for them. Now, their products can be shipped directly to end customers — without any additional effort on their side.'

The process is straightforward for Actona. Products are delivered to Droppery based on purchase orders, after which Droppery bundles and consolidates the shipments to serve affiliated retailers. 'An added benefit is that retailers are no longer required to meet minimum order values. They can purchase per order, giving them far greater flexibility in managing their stock,' Mulder adds.
