Wittmann releases follow-up report after Fuorisalone 2025

As part of this year's Milan Furniture Fair, Wittmann presented its new products in the inspiring premises of the Maria Calderara showroom in the city centre, in the heart of the lively Porta Venezia district.

The exhibition concept was inspired by Friedrich Kiesler's visionary and avant-garde architecture "Raumstadt", which was a sensation at the "Exposition Internationale" in Paris in 1925. This floating, geometric structure was not just exhibition architecture, but a city of the future that rethought space and merged emotion and innovation. Wittmann Creative Counsel Arthur Arbesser and the Italian architect Paolo Giacomazzi adopted this spirit in their concept and translated it into a modern design language to turn the exhibition into a lively communication platform.

Themed "A Story In Design", visitors were welcomed to the peaceful atmosphere of the backyard in Via Lazzaretto with an exhibition on the company's development from a saddlery to a premium furniture manufacturer. Wittmann models from the classic collection, combined with information about the influence of Josef Hoffmann and other leading designers of their time, illustrated the timeless aesthetic that still characterises Wittmann's design language today.

In the light-flooded main room of the showroom, the new products were presented in an atmospheric setting. The TUYA relax chair, the KOLINAS sofa and the KOLINAS armchair by Jaime Hayon impressed visitors with the Spanish designer's usual charming style. Sebastian Herkner presented his BELETAGE design as a single sofa and modular element group and the BUN series by Federica Biasi was expanded to include a bed and a mini version of the arm chair.

The natural light that flooded into the showroom through the large skylights created an inviting atmosphere and brought out the colours of the fabrics particularly well. The extension of the ATRIUM sofa and the DD TABLE with glass top were also on display, as was the KUBUS armchair by Josef Hoffmann, which is celebrating its 115th anniversary this year. The high-quality furniture was complemented by tasteful paintings and home accessories.
