The experience of light intertwines with the exhibition matrix of the Antrax IT Milano showroom, on the occasion of Milan Design Week 2025. It is "Light Frame," curated by Victor Vasilev, that creates the conceptual synthesis between the pure, total black aesthetic of the space, its image as a "design gallery", and the idea of a temporary installation that overlays and traces its essential, rigorous features, and artistic content.
The project develops as a sequence of rigid portals, realized with a thin painted metal profile with integrated LED strips, which create tension on translucent, white fabric panels. Three parallel elements are placed at the entrance on Via Santa Cecilia, with another set highlighting the exhibition area of the window, facing Via San Damiano. The architectural backdrops, cut by openings of decreasing size, define visual telescopes that either offer passageways through which to access and experience Antrax IT's brand identity, or focus on the latest collection by AMDL CIRCLE - Lana -, in its new Rosso Ancora shade.
Made ethereal by the diffuse light that envelops them like a superficial patina, the portals generate a progression of permeability, while minimal sets are arranged in the gaps between them. In these sets, the radiators symbol of the company's catalogue are enhanced with objects and complements, and their embossed finishes paired with natural stone and wood.
The image of the showroom, the perception of its spaces, changes constantly through Light Frame, which offers a new scenario—between art and architecture, between black and white, material and immaterial, light and shadow, transparency and opacity.
'Light, the protagonist of Design Week, is something intangible, conceptually aligned with the theme of warmth, which is part of our corporate culture. Light is visible, warmth is felt, both are immaterial, but if correctly managed, they release well-being in the environment and therefore comfort for the person. Light Frame is not just an immersive installation but a project of correlation, where our radiator designs are also magnified' explains Alberico Crosetta, CEO of Antrax IT.
