Former top footballer and current assistant coach at Liverpool, John Heitinga, has put his renovated home in Amsterdam-Zuid up for sale. The property, offered for sale for almost 5 million euros, has an asking price of 4,950,000 euros, according to Bekende Buren.

The mansion has been fully renovated and boasts an impressive living area of 375 square metres, spread over five floors. It offers nine rooms, including six bedrooms and three bathrooms, one of which is equipped with a sauna. All bathrooms have underfloor heating. The top floor is suitable for a live-in au-pair, making the property extra attractive for larger families.
The property also has an 84-square-metre garden, perfectly oriented to the south, and a roof terrace that the resident can enjoy all year round.
John Heitinga bought the property for around 2.7 million euros, with an asking price of 2.8 million euros at the time. With a mortgage of 1.8 million euros on the property, Heitinga could realise a profit of about 2.3 million euros if sold at the current asking price.
Heitinga has previously invested in property, including a refurbishment project in Amstelveen.
