Esselle Retail has acquired, a British brand known for its window dressings and soft furnishings, with plans to build on the brand's legacy and enhance its trade partnerships. The move follows the Belfield Group's announcement in November 2024 that it would wind down operations at Belfield Home by the end of January 2025 as part of a strategic review.

Belfield Home has provided curtains, blinds, and other soft furnishings to retailers, interior designers, and trade professionals across the UK. Esselle Retail, which owns brands including Arthouse, Esselle Home, and ASW, aims to expand Belfield Home's made-to-measure product offerings and strengthen relationships with trade customers.
Suraj Lalvani, CEO of Esselle Retail, stated, 'We see tremendous potential in Belfield Home,' and emphasised the company's commitment to delivering high-quality, British-made window solutions. Alan Jamieson, head of sales, added that Esselle Retail would work closely with trade customers to gather feedback and provide enhanced product and service solutions. Esselle Retail has assured customers that there will be no disruption to current operations during the transition.
With this acquisition, Esselle Retail seeks to create a stronger, more dynamic Belfield Home, focused on serving professionals in the home interiors' industry.
