January Furniture Show 2025 sees record attendance and growth

The January Furniture Show (JFS) 2025 achieved significant success, with a 4% increase in visitor numbers, reaching attendees from 48 countries. A record 71% of floor space has already been rebooked for 2026, ensuring the event will expand further.

VIP buyer attendance grew by 10%, with a 35% rise in high spenders, including those with budgets exceeding £1 million. Over 500 brands participated, with 38% making their debut at the show. A notable international presence was seen, with exhibitors from the US, Romania, Italy, and more. These numbers were reported by Big Furniture Group.

The event showcased over 50,000 products, including 10,000 new designs, setting trends for the 2025 furniture industry. Hooker Furnishings, a key exhibitor, donated a luxury bar cabinet to charity, highlighting the event's commitment to philanthropy. The show also celebrated women in furniture and recognised industry achievements at the Furniture Awards.

'A huge thank you to our incredible exhibitors and the vibrant buying community who made this event unforgettable. From innovative designs to inspiring connections, it's been an amazing four days celebrating the best in furniture and interiors,' the organisation of JFS shares.

Here's what some of the biggest names in the industry said about this year's show:

'I visit every year and have done for quite some time. It's the one big show where you have got everything, and it's good to have a look around, even if it's not necessarily people you already deal with. It's the broadness of the products on offer which I like,' says Group Senior Furniture Buyer, Trago Mills.

'The January Furniture show is an opportunity for you to understand exactly what's going on in the market, the trends, and the ideas that people are pushing out. There's no better way to get a pulse of the UK market than the January Furniture Show,' says Senior Category manager, Wayfair.

Back in 2026
Plans for JFS 2026 include a revised layout and expanded Premium Hall. The event will return from 18-21 January 2026.
