The company, Loddenkemper, active in the furniture industry since 1889, previously attempted restructuring before filing for bankruptcy at the Osnabrück court. The team working on the case is focused on reducing costs and increasing sales to ensure the proceedings can continue with viable prospects. Restructuring efforts are being supported by important suppliers and the creditors' committee, while discussions with potential investors are also taking place.

Loddenkemper, employs around 185 staff members, many of whom have been with the company for years. Since mid-November, these employees have been receiving insolvency benefits, but this support is expected to run out soon.

As the business navigates its uncertain future, efforts to secure its survival continue, but the ultimate outcome remains to be seen.
