Roche Bobois expands and earns recognition in December 2024

Roche Bobois, renowned globally for its luxurious furniture and embodiment of French Art de Vivre, has shared its latest developments for December 2024.

The company recently inaugurated a new store in Royalmount, Montreal, a premier luxury shopping destination. This store spans 2,000 square metres and exemplifies the brand's signature aesthetic through its use of natural materials such as ceramics, wood, and lush greenery. Situated at the crossroads of Montreal's key transport routes, this new venture marks Roche Bobois' third directly owned store in the city, contributing to its total of eight stores across Canada, including franchises.

In recognition of its environmental efforts, Roche Bobois received a prestigious Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award from the National Confederation of Household Equipment and its partner, AG2R LA MONDIALE. Acknowledged in the "Furniture Trading" category, the company was celebrated for its eco-design initiatives aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, combating deforestation, and fostering responsible production. Since 2019, Roche Bobois has been committed to ensuring 100% of its new products are eco-designed by 2025, with notable progress—75.7% achieved in 2023, and a target of over 89% set for 2024.

Meanwhile, the brand continues to support cultural ventures, showcasing an exhibition by acclaimed American photographer Patty Carroll at its Paris store on Avenue du Maine. This collaboration with Galerie XII features two exclusive pieces integrating Roche Bobois' iconic designs, highlighting the interplay between art and design.

Founded in 1960, Roche Bobois remains a family-owned business with a presence in 54 countries through 340 stores, both company-owned and franchised. Its flagship brand, Roche Bobois, is synonymous with cutting-edge, high-end furniture and has collaborated with renowned designers such as Joana Vasconcelos and Patrick Norguet. The Group's second brand, Cuir Center, caters to the mid-range market with a focus on France. In 2023, Roche Bobois achieved consolidated revenues of €429.6 million, with its two brands generating a combined turnover of €600.8 million.

As Roche Bobois continues to expand its global footprint and strengthen its cultural and environmental commitments, it upholds its reputation as a leader in luxury furniture and design innovation.
