In July, the total consumer price index in Denmark increased by 1.1 percent compared with the same month the year before. The lower inflation in July compared to June is mainly due to the fact that electricity has increased significantly less in price between June and July this year compared to the same period last year.
Goods have fallen by an average of 0.2 percent over the past year, mainly due to lower prices of new cars as well as furniture and home furnishings.
