Otto Collection by Louis Roitel

'Fascinated by the 30s, his furniture is inspired by the Bauhaus and the Art Deco style'

Created in 2018, Louis Roitel, a subsidiary of the D. Roitel Group with Henryot & Cie, benefits from the latter's centuries-old know-how. Today, it is Dominique, the 5th generation of the family, who runs the family business, still affirming the same passion and the same love of beautiful things.

The collections are made with the greatest respect for the traditions and values of seat carpentry and art cabinetmaking, by talented companions after a meticulous training of seven to eight years. All these ancestral know-hows constitute an intangible heritage of inestimable richness.

Thanks to them, the D. Roitel Group has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant - EPV - label since March 2007, a recognition by the French State intended to highlight companies that work in compliance with the rules of the art. Capable of combining tradition and innovation, they honour the most daring orders while highlighting the know-how made in France.

At the end of 2016, Louis Roitel also received the IG label - Geographical Indication Siège de Liffol. This label is the first approval awarded by the INPI and awarded to journeymen carpenters in the east of France. It distinguishes the concentration of exceptional know-how and the use of choice materials that respect the environment.

With its know-how, Louis Roitel inspires the biggest names in design and creation. Thus, when Dominique Roitel talks about new projects that inhabit him, the reception of the designers is immediately enthusiastic. The idea of fully customizable luxury chairs offered and sold online delights these artists. To feed the most varied inspirations, Dominique Roitel has selected a selection of designers with very singular sensibilities and universes.

Together with Axel Huynh, they bring the Otto Collection to life.

Axel Huynh, designer, self-taught entrepreneur, collaborates with the most beautiful French and international luxury houses through his event communication agency Crazybaby! and his eponymous design brand. A visionary business leader, he multiplied the most audacious projects. Axel Huynh created the Otto collection for Louis Roitel; a chaise longue and a bench in a beautiful spirit of eclecticism.

Fascinated by the artistic movements of the 30s, his furniture is inspired by the Bauhaus for the minimalism of the lines and the Art Deco style.

The Otto Collection offers optimal comfort with its clean lines, its beech structure, unprecedented colour combinations, and variations in solar tones. It offers matching or contrasting choices of fifteen fabrics in different colours and six variations of wood finishes - stained and/or lacquered - for the seats and backrests. Unique customization for a refined collection.
