The 'Wprost' list of the 100 richest Poles for 2024 has recently been launched. The compilation of billionaires and millionaires features prominent figures from the furniture industry. These were in the top:
In 26th place is Bogdan and Elżbieta Kaczmarek, whose wealth totals PLN 2.61 billion. In a recent notable expansion, the Kaczmarek family acquired Pfleiderer's Polish operations.
Then in 64th place is Grzegorz, Sebastian, Marcin Ćwik, with PLN 1.24 billion. The Ćwik brothers own the Agata store chain. Wprost says that last year the value of furniture sold by the Agata store chain reached over PLN 2 billion.

Another interesting placement is Ludwik Olczyk and his family, in 96th place. The value of his millions is tallied at PLN 752 million. He has gathered this wealth through holding a large number of shares in Tartak Olczyk, in Świdno, between Kielce and Włoszczowa. The successful Polish family company is considered one of the key players in the wood industry in Poland.
The penultimate 99th place is held by Stanisław Bieńkowski. His assets are valued at PLN 721 million. He is manager of Stelmet which leads in the manufacture of garden architecture.
