Polish retailer Agata Meble's network has issued a statement regarding a cyber attack. This marks another major Polish company recently targeted by hackers.
On June 24, 2024, Agata furniture stores released a statement. Its purpose was to inform that the network had been subjected to a cyber attack. As reported by Agata, in recent days, the company had to deal with abnormalities in the functioning of its IT system.

At the time of the statement's publication, the mentioned system was already operating correctly. The network informed that customers can make purchases in both physical stores and online store. Agata, following security procedures, is currently verifying whether hackers managed to access customer data. According to the announcement, this could include data such as: name, surname, address, telephone number, and email.
Regardless of the outcome of this verification, the network advises customers to be cautious of unknown phone calls and emails. These could pose risks, such as phishing attempts or data theft.
