The furniture sector in Poland is grappling with a debt totalling PLN 114.6 million. This debt has mostly affected small enterprises, with larger manufacturers carrying the biggest debt load amounting to €17.8 million. According to the Warsaw Business Journal, there has been a decline in financially stable firms and an increase in those facing financial difficulties.
Furniture companies are also owed €4.4 million by their customers. This growing financial strain is causing concerns about potential bankruptcies and job losses within the industry.
