The British television broadcast Channel4's consumer investment arm, Channel 4 Ventures, has made a £3 million investment in the secondhand furniture marketplace Vinterior. This media-for-equity deal will enable Vinterior to reach audiences interested in home improvement, leveraging Channel 4's shows such as Grand Designs.

The investment enhances Channel 4 Ventures' portfolio in home and furniture businesses, which includes previous investments in companies like Purple Bricks, Swyft, MyBespokeRoom, Coat Paints, Rated People, and Get Agent.
Vinterior's founder and CEO, Sandrine Zhang Ferron, says in an article on Furniture News: 'Our London-focused advertising has been successful, and expanding to TV this autumn will boost our visibility. This opportunity will position Vinterior as the go-to platform for buying and selling high-quality, pre-loved furniture nationwide.'
