The precise number of employees affected is not yet determined, as it will depend on planned retirements and additional voluntary termination agreements. However, approximately 20 positions, primarily in the administrative sector in Löhne, will be closed.

The company is currently avoiding compulsory redundancies. They emphasised that timely and respectful discussions would be held, fair severance packages offered, and voluntary termination agreements proposed.
With this move, Siematic aims to achieve the capacity needed to secure future jobs and loyal skilled workers in a challenging market environment within the industry.
