Danish Furniture Giant Ilva to open new store in Sweden

This October, the renowned Danish furniture retailer Ilva will be opening a new store in Jönköping, marking its fifth location in Sweden. The new store, which will occupy a 1,686 square meter space, is set to open in the A6 area adjacent to the Asecs shopping centre.

Established in 1987, Asecs has undergone several expansions and now boasts around 50,000 square meters of retail space, housing over 100 stores and activities. The broader commercial zone, including Asecs, spans approximately 70,000 square meters, making it a significant retail hub.

Ulrik Greve Jakobsen, Retail Director at Ilva, expressed his enthusiasm about the new store: "I am both proud and honoured that Ilva will open its fifth store in Sweden this October, in Jönköping, which has a vast and vibrant catchment area. We look forward to inspiring even more Swedes with our high-quality designs and extensive range of home furnishings."
