New Black Belt glass designs showcase 'grit and elegance'

Venini, on the occasion of Milano Design Week, renewed its collaboration with internationally well-known designer Peter Marino.

Famous for the dichotomy between aggressive looks and delicate, light design, the designer continues to experiment with Murano glass, expanding the Cilindro series with a limited edition of vases with transparent bands in two colour variants, and Black Belt, with a collection of glasses distinguished by heat-applied black bands that delicately wrap around the silhouette of the products.

Cilindro

Introducing two new colours for the Cilindro collection. The first has transparent bands in the colour Tea, with gold enamelled decorations, while the second has transparent bands in Green Apple-Milk-White Glass, creating an elegant contrast with the Cristallo-coloured glass. They are made using the "Fasce" technique, where the master glassmaker hot pours coloured ribbons and fuses them so that the decoration envelops the geometric volumes of the vases to create eye-catching swirls.

A new limited-edition collection designed to serve as a focal point in any space.

Black Belt

The new Black Belt glasses designed by Peter Marino are characterized by an unexpected and perfect combination of grit and elegance.

Each glass is a unique work of art, characterized by hot-worked black bands applied with expert craftsmanship, intertwining to make four distinct designs on the hand-blown glass.

The resulting collection boasts a captivating and vibrant style, ideal for any table setting, showcasing both the expert craftsmanship of the Venini furnace and Marino's design process.
