Pininfarina and Vista Alegre join forces to present Accento design

Furniture line launched as part of Vista Alegre's 200-year celebrations

Vista Alegre is celebrating 200 years this year; a remarkable longevity that will be properly commemorated throughout the year, extending to 2025. Alongside the many initiatives that will take place to celebrate an exemplary history made up of boldness, courage, ambition, determination, work and perseverance, Vista Alegre will be launching a series of pieces that honour its memory, bridging the line between the brand's past, present and future.

Highlights include pieces such as the 'bottle cooler', 'The Disciples of Rosseau', with the decoration executed by the painting and manufacturing section of Vista Alegre. Another highlight that marks its timelessness is the 'Ronlet Fruit Bowl', a reproduction of a Vista Alegre Museum piece that comes to life in the celebrations of the 200th anniversary. In the area of Crystal and Glass, the '1824' bottle amazes with the various elements alluding to the brand's history.

There are many works and projects celebrating this important anniversary, including partnerships that have given rise to new collections, such as the one established with the renowned Italian design studio Pininfarina, which has given life to a furniture line, a segment that Vista Alegre will be focusing on in this year of celebrations.

Accento design by Pininfarina
Vista Alegre and the prestigious Italian design studio Pininfarina recently joined forces to create 'Accento', a new line of furniture that reflects Vista Alegre's heritage of prestige and creativity, which will celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2024, and Pininfarina's 90 years of exceptional design. Vista Alegre's presence in 'Accento' will be transversal to the entire range, adding a touch of exclusivity to each piece in the collection.

All along its legendary history, Pininfarina has designed some of the most iconic models for brands such as Ferrari, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Peugeot, among many others, as well as revolutionary prototypes in its own right. The furniture designed by the Italian house therefore mirrors some of the iconic details found in mythical cars, from the shape of the baquets to the famous capitoné and hand-stitched finishes, and are characterised by the presence of ceramic details.
