In the first quarter of this year, Amazon achieved a revenue of nearly 134.5 billion euros, surpassing the total annual income of Slovakia. The e-commerce and technology giant saw its profits triple in the first quarter of this year to 10.4 billion dollars, equivalent to 9.8 billion euros.

Amazon continues to lead the way compared to Microsoft, Alphabet, and Meta. The e-commerce operations generated the most revenue, with a turnover of 83.8 billion euros. Advertising revenue grew by 24 percent to 11.1 billion euros. Cloud services remain a significant source of income for Amazon, with revenue of 23.5 billion euros in the last quarter.
