Furniture firms feature in Forbes list of Poland's best employers

Forbes, along with the analytical and research company Statista, has released the Poland's Best Employers 2024 list for the fourth consecutive year. This comprises 300 companies operating in Poland that have earned the title of the best employer. The evaluations were conducted by employees who filled out anonymous surveys. The representative group of respondents consisted of 20,000 people, in this case, employees of large companies.

According to Forbes, approximately 2,000 organisations were assessed in this year's edition of the study. These organisations employ at least 250 workers in Poland and operate in one or several of the 25 industries included in the ranking. Participation in the study was voluntary, meaning that entrepreneurs applied themselves.

Employers in the furniture industry featured in Forbes' ranking:

Meble Wójcik – Elbląg – 1,400 employees – 4th place in the durable consumer goods production industry

JYSK – Gdańsk – 2,500 employees – 3rd place in the retail trade industry

Castorama – Warsaw – 13,000 employees – 4th place in the retail trade industry

IKEA – multiple locations – 17,091 employees – 15th place in the retail trade industry

Fabryka Mebli Bodzio – Goszcz – 2,155 employees – 9th place in the durable consumer goods production industry

Komandor – Radom – >250 employees – 10th place in the durable consumer goods production industry

Leopol Meble Polska – Śrem – 600 employees – 11th place in the durable consumer goods production industry

Rehau – Baranowo – 600 employees – 6th place in the production and processing of raw materials, building materials, metal, and paper industry

Abra – Kraków – 431 employees – 19th place in the retail trade industry

Leroy Merlin – Warsaw – 13,000 employees – 28th place in the retail trade industry

Black Red White – Biłgoraj – 4,468 employees – 13th place in the durable consumer goods production industry, 30th place in the retail trade industry

Matex – Nekla – 800 employees – 14th place in the durable consumer goods production industry
