101 Copenhagen shows an interplay of light and design

The Danish brand 101 Copenhagen introduces designs which allow for the interplay of light and design. Its Pearl Lamp is crafted in a brass finish, capturing and reflecting the sun's rays to create a mesmerizing ambiance. This is beautifully complemented by their timeless favourite, the Foku Lounge Chair, presented in a sophisticated taupe shade that embodies both style and comfort. Add to this the Sculpt Stool in fibre concrete, adorned with a cognac-coloured leather cushion. Together, these pieces form a vibrant and warm setting.

The company's Foku lounge chair has been inspired by the shapes of traditional Japanese garden tools. Foku means fork in Japanese, and is a reference to the traditional rake tools used in Japanese Zen gardens for centuries. The fork, used to gently create minimalistic lines and waves in the sand, is reinterpreted in the fluted seat of the Foku chair.

The Sphere collection has become synonymous with the visual language and the signature series of 101 Copenhagen. The series is a family of unique silhouettes and textures gathering in a decorative and sculptural manner. Elegantly sculpted, each vase is finished with an intricate ornate detailing, inspired by ancient Chinese vases. The Pearl collection has been inspired by ancient Japanese lanterns.
