Manchester Furniture Show getting back out on the road

The Manchester Furniture Show (MFS) is back after a short hiatus and returning to Manchester Central from the 10-11 July. As one of the UK's leading furniture shows it's a great mid-year touchpoint.

'With over 3,500 buyers attending this is a key mid-year selling opportunity that furniture manufacturers won't want to miss. MFS has a rich legacy at the iconic Manchester Central having run successfully for 28 years before its 5-year hiatus, the show brings together a diverse product range perfect for retailers to source from. Be seen by top high street and online buyers who will be attending the show from Robert Dyas, Sofology, Bensons for Beds, B&B Furniture, Fabb Furniture, Housing Units Limited, Leekes Ltd, Megastore Retail Group, Stokers Ltd, Gerald Shotton Furnishings, The SpaceMaker Interiors LTD, Cookes, Toons and many more. Don't miss the chance to meet and do business with those hard-to-reach Irish and Scottish buyers who are planning to place orders at the show,'the organisation says.

'Join the industry's best as the show floor fills up quickly with top names already booked to showcase their latest collections including Buoyant Upholstery, La-Z-Boy UK Ltd, Incanto, Kettle Home, Cowthorpe Oak Furniture, DECORTIE UK, Furnico, Kennett & Lindsell Ltd, Taylors of Scotland, AWS Trading Ltd, Blue Bone Imports Limited, Final Touches, THE ULTIMATE HOME LIVING GROUP, Heritage, Lebus, Mini Divani along with a host more.'

Industry leader Mike Aramayo, Managing Director at Buoyant Upholstery, is excited to see MFS return saying: 'We wouldn't miss Manchester Furniture Show as for us it's a key event for the period where we meet with existing customers, take plenty of orders and meet new buyers.' Reinforcing the show's importance for businesses looking to reach new buyers, once again making MFS the place to expand and build on a loyal customer base.

The MFS team understands the importance of trade shows as a means to meet busy buyers, which is why the Product Focus package was introduced. MFS will continue to make trade shows accessible for businesses of any size with Product Focus stands. These are a cost-effective plug & play concept that offers exhibitors all they need for a successful show, such as; carpet, AMP backwall/low side wall, graphic column with nameboard, lighting, electrical socket and the build and break down of your stand.

The MFS team are looking forward to getting back out on the road and bringing back this beloved show. Shona Carmichael, Sales Manager for the Manchester Furniture Show and the January Furniture Show, has worked on the show since 2002 and speaks highly of the shows relaunch saying: 'I am thrilled that the Manchester Furniture Show is returning as it is the industry's central hub for furniture professionals from across the UK and Ireland. MFS is a fantastic opportunity for brands to connect with buyers as the show is easily accessible making it a must-visit for Irish and Scottish buyers. The two-day format allows ample time for networking and exploring the latest trends with MFS being well known for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, perfect for networking and building relationships. Buyers come for both days because they want to experience everything the show has to offer, and they know they'll leave with new products secured and ready to arrive on their shopfloors by the end of November.'

Even though MFS is a trade show, not all the selling happens at the stands. The relaxed summer show is also a social affair where networking is just as important as selling. Exhibitors and visitors can mingle at the show's new Summer Solstice Show Party and the Women in Furniture Network Brunch are both key opportunities to make new connections and finalise deals. 'With registration already tracking +15% ahead, MFS will be the summer destination for the furniture industry,' MFS says.
