Cosentino, a manufacturer of sustainable materials for architecture and design, collaborates with the globally renowned designers Formafantasma to create a thought-provoking installation. The company unveils Earthic lab x Formafantasma, a disruptive installation at Teatro Gerolamo that serves to introduce a new generation of Silestone.
The collaboration aims to raise awareness about the importance of design that goes beyond mere aesthetics, prioritizing ethical production processes. "The Earthic lab installation becomes an immersive journey that marks a turning point in innovative concepts. Earthic lab embodies the vision of Cosentino and Formafantasma, combining unconventional and reused materials for an innovative concept," reports Cosentino.
The choice of location is not accidental. Within the historic walls of Teatro Gerolamo, Earthic unfolds its transformative story. Each element reflects the historical significance of this location, creating an installation that transcends time – a dialogue between the past and the future –, with sustainability as the protagonist.
This installation serves as the premiere of Earthic by Silestone XM, featuring a new collection, designed by Formafantasma (FFROM) with a sustainable approach to the surface industry.
This series also marks the first release of Silestone XM Mineral Hybriq Surfaces, a new category – made with Cosentino's patented Hybriq+ Technology – that distinguishes the upcoming collections of the brand, produced with a maximum of 10% crystalline silica content.
