€75 million allocated to energy-intensive sectors in the Polish wood and furniture industries

Several Polish wood and furniture companies have recently been granted compensation to mitigate the impacts of rising gas and energy prices. This initiative comes as part of a broader program aimed at supporting energy-intensive industries amidst challenging market conditions.

The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFEPWM) has unveiled a comprehensive list of beneficiaries under the program. A total of 217 enterprises have been earmarked to receive public assistance and a sum total of more than €75.000.000 (PLN 325,947,345.23).

The program aims to alleviate the financial burden on energy-intensive businesses by offering compensation for a portion of their electricity and natural gas procurement costs.

Among the recipients of compensation are prominent names from the furniture and wood industries, with substantial amounts awarded to each. These include companies such as TANNE sp. z o.o., BOWI-STYL sp. z o.o., Homanit Krosno Odrzańskie sp. z o.o., Homanit Polska sp. z o.o. i sp. kom., Pfleiderer MDF Grajewo sp. z o.o., VTO-DEKOR sp. z o.o., L-CORRECT – sp. z o.o., ZAKŁADY PRODUKCYJNO-USŁUGOWE PRAWDA sp. z o.o., Marbet sp. z o.o., GAMET sp. z o.o., KRONOSPAN HPL sp. z o.o., and PAGED MEBLE sp. z o.o.
