Denis Lamoureux has been appointed as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Maisons du Monde, starting on March 4th, 2024. He brings extensive experience from his six-year tenure as CFO at Lacoste, where he significantly contributed to performance enhancement and sustained growth.
Lamoureux's nearly twenty-year career in retail and international brand management will be instrumental in driving Maisons du Monde's future development as an omnichannel leader in home furnishings.
François-Melchior de Polignac, CEO of Maisons du Monde, expressed optimism about Lamoureux's appointment, emphasising his expertise and track record in finance and change management. Gilles Lemaire, who served as Acting CFO since September 1st, 2023, will assume the role of Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Lamoureux's background includes work at LVMH and Maus Frères International, where he held various strategic positions, including Executive Vice-President of Finance and Administration at Lacoste. He is an alumnus of HEC Paris and holds a DESS in International Taxation.
