25 years of collaboration between Paola Lenti and Francesco Rota

The renowned brand Paola Lenti celebrates the significant milestones in the 25-year professional partnership with Francesco Rota. They showcase three icons of essentiality and versatility: Linea, Wave, and Harbour.

The company and the designer have shared an unconventional approach to furnishings, fostering an ongoing dialogue between indoor and outdoor spaces. Together, they have created numerous collections and products renowned for their unmistakable character, yet their collaboration has also embraced the challenge of creating designs that endure the test of time.

With their clean lines and timeless appeal, all the products seamlessly blend into any environment, renewing themselves each time. This enduring quality extends beyond just colours and materials; it's a dedication to simplicity that allows the company to propose projects composed of both historic products and new releases, catering to the most diverse design requirements, giving them new life every time.

Take Linea, for instance. Originally designed for indoor use over 25 years ago, it now transitions seamlessly to outdoor settings thanks to the new collection of signature fabrics.

Similarly, Wave, a hallmark of the company's outdoor debut in 2003, returns with fresh handcrafted weaves inspired by traditional Japanese knotting techniques.

Thanks to a perfect blend of signs, materials, and colours, these historic products can coexist with all the latest innovations, such as Harbour, the modular seating series that highlights and enhances the qualities of Twiggy - the most recent and high-performing technical yarn studied and produced exclusively by the company - and for which, for the first time, Aerelle blue has been used, a padding obtained exclusively by recycling disposable plastic. A project destined to become a classic itself. A past and a present that coexist and grow together, an exchange of materials and colours that makes versatile forms current, making them new each time.

Our story ends here. Paola Lenti and Francesco Rota, on the other hand, continue with enthusiasm to work on new ideas, always keeping in mind that innovations arise only when different visions have the courage to confront each other to find common ground.
