Finnish furniture manufacturer Vaarnii presented an extensive exhibition of brutal and sophisticated pine furniture at the Stockholm Furniture Fair. 'This is our first participation at Stockholmsmässan and our inaugural showing during a major furniture fair,' they said. This significant event for Vaarnii will introduce the brand to a new audience, plus give us the opportunity to connect with its growing customer base in Scandinavia.

With that ambition, the full range of Vaarnii furniture, lighting, and accessories, all made in Finland from Finnish pine, was presented in a display designed by celebrated Stockholm interior design studio Stamuli AB.
In addition to the existing catalogue of Vaarnii products, they showcased significant new product launches including an outdoor lounge chair and footstool by coveted British designer Faye Toogood and the first product, a dining chair, from a new range by celebrated design maestro Ronan Bouroullec.
'There is a toughness, a robustness, to this design which is quite fitting given it was designed by a Brit for a northern European furniture manufacturer. As a studio we felt a real connection to the pine. We often use raw, honest materials; canvas, clay, wire, paper, card. These are essential materials for making and pine has similar qualities,' says designer Faye Toogood.

'It is important for a Nordic brand to be present at the most important Nordic design events. Just three years ago Vaarnii was an unproven concept. It makes us very proud to be making our inaugural entry to the Stockholm Furniture Fair as an established brand with incredible collaborators. We are grateful to quickly have become the go-to for tough, high-quality, uncompromising pine furniture.
