Portuguese furniture brand Antarte is negotiating partnership with The Emirates Group

Portuguese furniture brand Antarte is currently in negotiations for a partnership with the group that owns Fly Emirates. Antarte, known for its furniture and home decor, expanded its international presence to the Asian continent in mid-2023, focusing on the Middle East with the opening of a 500-square-meter flagship store in Dubai. Following the success of the Antarte Dubai Store, the brand is now preparing for a new strategic advancement through a potential partnership with The Emirates Group. This is mentioned by diarioviseu.

The CEO of Antarte, Mário Rocha, is leading negotiations for this strategic partnership. The proposed collaboration involves Antarte's presence in Fly Emirates lounges, with the possibility of establishing dedicated corners within these VIP passenger spaces. These corners would serve as showcases for Antarte's furniture range, including sofas, dining tables, coffee tables, TV stands, chairs, beds, dressers, or consoles.

Established 25 years ago, Antarte has been present in various cities known for their cosmopolitan lifestyle, blending modernity with timeless design. The Antarte Dubai Store epitomises elegance, refinement, and craftsmanship. During its opening event, the store welcomed special guests from the Emirates, including radio presenter Kris Fade and his wife Brianna Fade, cast members of the hit show "Dubai Bling"; interior designers Nisrine Lababidi, Vafa Mir, Afaf Labidi, architect Marwa Elsallab, sustainability influencer Sana Mastan, among other local personalities.

Mário Rocha, CEO of Antarte: 'Negotiating a partnership with a player as prominent as The Emirates Group demonstrates the strategic solidity of Antarte's internationalisation efforts, with future developments in mind for the Asian continent.' This potential partnership reflects Antarte's commitment to expanding its reach and strengthening its presence in key markets globally.
