Farmers' protest expected to disrupt route to Meble Polska

The Meble Polska Furniture Fair is starting today. Visitors travelling to the fair from various parts of Poland, have been alerted to potential traffic disruptions due to an upcoming farmers' protest scheduled for February 20th.

According to reports from the Poznań Police Headquarters, the protest is expected to result in significant traffic restrictions across several key transportation hubs in and around Poznań. The blockade, set to cover five major transport nodes, is anticipated to commence in the early hours of the morning and last until late afternoon.

Authorities are advising individuals to seek alternative routes and exercise patience. Police officers will be on-site to manage traffic flow and provide guidance on potential detours. The farmers' protest is anticipated to affect travel routes both in and out of Poznań, with specific areas such as ul. Głogowska, Komorniki, Zakrzewo, Tarnowo Podgórne, Golęczewo, and Kostrzyn likely to experience significant disruptions. These disruptions are expected to extend throughout the day, with peak activity between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm.
