The Designplus Award jury of Light + Building has made its decision: 33 designs have been selected as nominees. The final winners will be announced during the award ceremony on the first day of the fair, March 3, 2024, at the Design Plaza. The awarded products will also be showcased at Light + Building in an exclusive special show in the foyer of Hall 5.1.

An independent panel of expert jurors selected 33 nominees showcasing remarkable design achievements from a vast pool of entries numbering over a hundred. The selection process unfolded over several stages, from identifying nominees to the final determination of winners. The jury's evaluation criteria - comprising industry luminaries such as Amandus Samsøe Sattler (ensømble studio architektur, President DGNB e.V.), Annika Egloff-Schoenen (Director, Fachverlag Dr. H. Arnold GmbH), Katja Winkelmann (Owner Licht 01, Lighting Design), Ulrike Brandi (Director Brand Licht), and Stylepark (Magazine & Platform for Architecture and Design) - reflected the highest standards of quality.
'I find it excellent that Messe Frankfurt organizes this award in collaboration with Stylepark,' says jury member Ulrike Brandi. 'The entire range of entries encompasses a multitude of fascinating solutions that certainly make a visit to the manufacturers at the fair worthwhile.'
